Kaden Novak has been a part of the boys basketball program for all 4 years of high school.


Please join us on Friday, February 7th during the halftime of the boy's basketball game for a special presentation! There will be an unveiling of Winter Record Boards for Basketball and Wrestling athletes. We look forward to seeing the stands packed as we celebrate our athletes' successes!


Senior Spotlight #2-
Cheerleader Olivia Reike. She has been a part of the high school cheer team for 4 years.


Tuesday night will be Senior Night for Cheerleaders and Basketball Players.
We would like to recognize Keirra Bates who has been a part of the cheer team all four years of her high school career.


The Junior High Wrestling team will start their season today at the home quad meet. The meet will begin at 4:00 vs Beloit, Minneapolis, and South East of Saline. Good luck to all wrestlers.


Due to illness within the KWU band department, the high school honor band originally scheduled for Monday, February 3 will be postponed to a date to be determined later.

The Wrestlers compete at the 67th Annual Rocky Welton Invitational in Garden City. Boys begin at 9 am on Friday and Girls at 3:00. Finals will be on Saturday beginning at 9:00. Watch Live on the Republic County Wrestling Facebook page. Good luck.

Mrs. Strnad and a crew of artists went to Logan today to hang the Dane Hansen student exhibit. This show opens Sunday and will be up for a month. So proud to have our student work featured in this exhibit!




Congratulations to our Sweetheart Candidates for 2025! Sweetheart Week is next week with the Crowning on Friday, February 7 at 5:30 pm before the basketball games vs. Lyons!


The Girls Triangular Meet at Thayer Central begins at 6:00 tonight. The girls will be competing against Thayer Central and Sandy Creek. Good luck to the lady Buffs.

Congratulations and GOOD LUCK 🍀 to our 2025 Battle of the Arts competitors Natalie Boyer and Kirsten Ball! They will be traveling to Wichita on February 18 to compete at Mark Arts in front of a live audience with only 22 other student artists from Kansas. Each artist will have 20 minutes to complete a finished piece of art. We can't wait to see what you come up with! 🎨
