From Football Night Lights to Circuit Board Sights...These senior Buffs lead on the field and in the lab. Helping drive our football team to wins and gearing up their robot for the BEST Robotics State Competition in Wichita tomorrow. We have the best kids at RepCo.

RCHS Battlin Buffs defeat Oakley 42-20, to go 8-1 on the season. They will move on in the playoffs and will meet the winner of tonights game between Hutch Trinity and Plainville. The Buffs will be at home once again next Friday, Go Buffs!
The East Elementary Halloween Parade will start around 8:15 on October 31. Students will exit the north side of the building and walk on the sidewalk on both sides of 18th Street between O and N Streets, and both sides of N Street on the west side of the square. Families and community members are welcome to watch and enjoy the parade!

It's the first round of football playoffs for Republic County on Thursday, October 30th. It's a home game with kick off at 6:00. Bring your kiddos to trick or treat from 4 to 5:30, enjoy some tasty soups from 4:30 to 6:30, visit the concession stand, listen to the band performance, and watch some Buffs football. It's gonna be a great night.

Congratulations to these RCHS Scholars Bowl team members for finishing in 3rd place at the Beloit meet Tuesday, October 28th. They won 5 out of 8 rounds. It was a great start to the 25-26 season. Their next meet will be League on Nov. 10th at Minneapolis.

This is a 4 year full ride scholarship for residents of the state of Kansas. You must be planning to attend either Emporia State, Fort Hays State, K-State or Wichita State. Republic County Buffaloes Actor's Guild broke ground last night with their first ever fall play rehearsal at the Blair theatre. We are very excited to call the theatre home. Please mark your calendars for Friday, November 14th and Saturday, November 15th for our production of Clue: High School Edition!


Winter High School Sports Parent meetings will be held on November 4, 2025 at 6 pm. The boys and girls basketball will be at 6 pm, girls wrestling at 6 pm and boys wrestling at 6:30pm, Go Buffs!

The Republic County High School Robotics team heads to Wichita this Saturday November 1st for the BEST Robotics state competition. This year's competition is titled Factoids and simulates an AI network in which the robot must navigate decisions by soring out true and false "factoids" as it designs and builds the network. Best of luck to this year's Republic County Robotics team.
