As we go into winter break, the Republic County Basketball teams will play a home game tonight versus Minneapolis.
Main Gym: 4:30- 2 qtrs of JV Girls, 6:00 Varsity Girls, 7:30 Varsity Boys.
New Gym: 4:30 JV Boys followed by 2 quarters of C Team.

16th Annual Marion County Winter Dual Tournament is today for our high school boys wrestling team. The tournament begins at 3:00 today. Good luck to all wrestlers.

If you know a senior who is planning to attend Fort Hays Tech North Central next year, the scholarship portal is now open! The priority deadline is January 15th, so completing the application over break would be great! It is just one application for all the scholarships that are offered.

Due to inclement weather, the first round of the Junior High League Basketball Tournament has been cancelled. In accordance with KSHSAA guidelines, all tournament game cannot be played on Saturday. As a result, the top four seeds will advance directly to Saturday’s games. Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize student safety while following state guidelines.

The 2nd quarter 7th grade students designed and completed their pillows. They will finish the semester making pizza rollups and smoothies.

From rest homes to uptown Belleville, our Junior High students filled the day with Christmas carols, Christmas card creations for residents, laughter, and a whole lot of holiday spirit! 🎄🎶 Thank you to our community for welcoming our students and to our staff for making this special experience possible. Thank you to Jenny Kling, Tranda and Jed Strnad, Jillian Livingston and all those who helped supervise. Moments like these are what the season is all about. Go Buffs! 🦬

We want to extend a huge thank you to our local businesses, community leaders, and professionals who took time out of their day to invest in our high school students. Your willingness to share real-world experiences made a meaningful impact. Belleville Police Dept., Astra Bank, the Extension Office, Dr. Zenger and Ed Larson with the RepCo Hospital, the City of Belleville (Electricians), Main Street Mollys, and Jeremey Snapp deserve a big thank you! Mayor James Doyle and the Christian Church were a huge help as well for a location while we hosted the Holiday Duals in our building. Our students had the opportunity to explore career pathways, learn life skills like basic financial literacy and vehicle care, and ask questions they don’t always get to ask in a classroom setting. These conversations help bridge the gap between school and the real world—and that matters. The virtual reality career exploration experience was a huge hit, giving students a hands-on look at careers they may not have previously considered. We’re excited about the possibility of bringing that back again next semester! Thank you for supporting RepCo students, strengthening community connections, and helping prepare our kids for what comes next. We truly appreciate you all. 🦬💙

RCHS Buffalo Actor's Guild is hosting a soup supper at the wrestling tournament today. Free will donation. Proceeds help support our trip to nationals in Washington DC.

The Republic County Christmas Wrestling Duals begin at 1:00 today.
Doors open at 12:15 for fans to attend. We wish all wrestlers the best of luck today in their duals. Schedules are attached.

Basketball Game Update for today vs Beloit: The JV Boys game will begin at 4:00 today instead of 4:30 with C team boys to follow. It will still be at the Elementary in Beloit. JV girls will still play at 4:30 at the Main Gym.

Basketball teams travel to Beloit on Tuesday, December 16th.
Game information is as follows;
HS Gym: 4:30 JV Girls, 6:00 Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys to follow
Elem Gym: 4:30 JV Boys, 1/2 C Boys

The Junior High Girls and Boys team travel to Ellsworth for their last regular season game. Games will begin at 4:00 with the following order of B Girls, B Boys, A Girls, A Boys. Good luck to all teams.

Attention all JH/HS Parents and Guardians. Tomorrow (16th) we host the Holiday Dual Wrestling Tournament at 1pm. If you are going to call your child out to attend the tournament, we ask that you do so by NOON TODAY if possible so we can plan around numbers for other activities tomorrow afternoon. Also, if you have a JH aged child that you would like to attend the tournament, we ask that a parent/guardian supervise. Doors will open at 12:15 PM tomorrow for spectators. Go Buffs!!
