The JV Buffs Football team had a great showing against Ellsworth but came up short. The final score was 12 to 24.


Come check out the book fair during the high school volleyball game on Tuesday night. The KAY club will be hosting crafts and reading stories for any children who would like to check it out. We will be open until 8:00 in the library.








The Republic County Volleyball teams will play their first game on their home court on Tuesday, September 16th beginning at 5:00.

REMINDER!!! Buffs After the Bell will be held tonight right after school for all students grades 6-12 that are struggling with a class or homework. They do not have to be on the eligibility list to attend. Snacks are offered. 6-8 should go to Mrs. Poole's room and 9-12 should go to the front flex room. This is the only night it will be offered this week due to conferences on Wednesday!

The Republic County JV Football team will play on their home field on Monday, September 15th at 5:00 versus the Ellsworth Bearcats. Good luck to the Rep Co Buffs.


RCHS XC team traveled to Wamego for competition in a Pre-State meet. Dakota Clausen Peters medaled in 15th place for the girls and Isaac Anderson medaled in the the boys division in 36th place. Overall very tough course and it got very warm today on top of the course being challenging. Buffs are back in action Thursday at Clay Center, Go Buffs!

RCHS Battlin' Buffs football lost a physical matchup with Ellsworth losing 16-40 on Friday night. Buffs next game is at home next Friday against Lyons, Go Buffs!

Lady Buffs fall to Sacred Heart- 19-25 loss, 25-23 win, 8-25 loss.

JV Lady Buffs end the day at Smith Center 2-3 with a thriller over TMP in two, 25-22 & 26-24!

Lady Buffs defeat Nickerson 2-0. 25-16 Win, 25-20 Win. Congrats on a great game.

JV Lady Buffs move to 1-3 on the day at Smith Center, dropping two close ones. First against Concordia 23-25, 9-25, followed by Phillipsburg 23-25, 17-25. They have one match left, against TMP.

The Lady Buffs are 0-2 to start off their morning against some tough competition at the Ellsworth Tournament. Ellsworth 13-25 loss, 7-25 loss. Ellinwood 18-25 loss, 9-25 loss.

JV Lady Buffs in action today at Smith Center. So far they are 1-1 on the day, falling to a tough Beloit team 11-25 and 12-25, before an exciting win over host Smith Center in three: 25-13, 22-25, 15-8. Next they will take on long-time rival Concordia. Stay tuned for further updates!

Please feel free to join RCHS KAY members at the Book Fair in the library at RCJSHS on Tuesday evening, September 16 from 5:00-8:00. We will have a craft station and time to shop the book fair. Please come see us and support the RCHS Volleyball team the same evening!
