
Republic County Football Senior Spotlight: Aden Morris
Aden Morris is the team's offensive tight end and defensive corner. He has been playing football since the first grade. He played flag football from 1st-5th grade and was part of the first RepCo Youth Football team which began his 6th grade year.

Don't forget that tonight is the FREE showing of Can't Look Away at 7:00 p.m. at the Blair theater. This shows the negative impact of social media on our youth. High School aged students are encouraged to attend. It is not recommended for students under the age of 14.


Cross Country Senior Spotlight:
Dakota Clausen-Peters has been a part of the high school cross country team for 3 years and has been to state with the girls team twice. She has greatly improved her times over the three years and we wish her the best of luck on Saturday at Regionals.

The RCHS Volleyball team played Valley Heights in the first round of the Class 2A Regional Volleyball tournament at Hillsboro. The girls lost 20-25, 15-25. They played Hillsboro next, losing 10-25, 13-25. The Lady Buffs will play the Whitewater-Remington Lady Broncos in the final round of play. The girls won 20-25, 25-21, 25-21. Nice win to finish the season, Go Lady Buffs!

This week at RCJSHS!


The JV football game for Monday, just got cancelled. Players bring your practice gear.

The RCHS XC team traveled to Downs for the NCAA League Meet on Thursday, Dakota Clausen-Peters became our newest League Champion by winning the girls race, Congrats Dakota!!


The RCHS Battlin' Buffs football team dominated the Valley Heights football team tonight winning 36-11. This sets up a winner-take all game with Sacred Heart next Friday, in Belleville for the district championship. The Buffs are 6-1 on the season, Go Buffs!

The Junior High Volleyball season is coming to a end with their final tournament of the year. They will be traveling to Beloit on Saturday morning for the NCAA League tournament. They will compete against Beloit at 9:00. Go out and support your Junior Lady Buffs.


The Robotics team has been preparing for competition. They will be headed to Wichita on Saturday, October 18th to test out their robot. From there, they will make adjustments and get geared up for Game Day which is on November 8th.


Looking for something to do on Saturday morning. The band will be performing at the Hyllningsfest parade in Lindsborg on Saturday, October 18th. The Grand Parade begins at 10:00 on Main Street.

Research shows that our youth struggle with many mental health issues and that screen time and social media play a large role in that struggle. Parents and grandparents of all ages of children should plan to attend Wednesday night's FREE showing of Can't Look Away The Case Against Social Media. It will be held at 7 p.m. at the Blair Theatre. Volleyball Senior Spotlight #5: The Republic County Volleyball team recognizes Senior Gwen Cole. Gwen has participated in volleyball since her 6th grade year. Gwen has been the setter for the JV and Varsity during her high school career. We thank her for her dedication and hard work over the many years that she has been a part of the team.
