The High School Boys Wrestling team will compete in the two day Tri-County Tournament in DeWitt, NE.
Dates: Friday, January 9th beginning at 2:00 pm
Saturday, January 10th at 9:00 am.
Teams: Adams Central, Columbus Lakeview, Falls City, Fillmore Central, Lincoln Christian, O'Neill, Pawnee City, Republic County, Shelby-Rising City, Tri County.

Do you know a 6th-8th grader who loves things related to math and science? Then there is a great opportunity coming up for them at Emporia State University! Saturday, March 7th ESU is hosting their Enhancing Your Future (EFU) with Mathematics and Science Day. This day allows students to hear an engaging speaker, lean about career possibilities, and participate in hands on sessions that they can select based on their interests. There is also an adult option so parents are welcome and attend. The costs for students is $35 and includes lunch, a t-shirt, a bag, and materials for the sessions. The Republic County Basketball teams travel to Southeast of Saline for their first games of 2026 tonight. Games begin at 4:30 with JV Boys followed by JV Girls in the Elementary Gym. The varsity games will begin at 5:00, starting with the girls followed by the boys in the main gym.

Republic County is hosting the Junior High League basketball tournament starting at 9:00 AM on Saturday, December 20th. The Junior Lady Buffs will start off playing the first round at 9:00 versus Sacred Heart. Good luck.
