The High School Winter Sports Banquet will be held on Tuesday, March 24th at 6:30 pm in the high school cafeteria. A meal will be provided by the Booster Club. Please join us as we recognize the girls/boys basketball teams, girls/boys wrestling teams, and cheerleaders for all their accomplishments during the 2025-2026 winter sports season.

The Republic County Baseball team begins their season with a home game on Monday, March 23rd versus Blue Valley. The first pitch is at 4:00 on the legion field. Good Luck Buffs.

Our team had a blast at this year's CFL qualifier! The forensics team has qualified 7 students for the national competition in Washington DC and came in 2nd place as a team. Shout out to baby Liam for being the best mascot ever. Haha 🤣

The National Institutes of Health state that roughly 60,000 people a day receive anesthesia in the United States. On average, every 1-2 seconds someone in the United States is going under anesthesia. Come on up to the high school on Tuesday, March 17th to Ava Thumann's Anesthesia Information Night. She will provide research, important formation, and dispel myths about Anesthesia. The event is at 5:00 p.m. in the Front Flex room at the High School.

Jitters is serving a brisket meal, and our forensics students will be sharing some of their pieces for our CFL competition. Guests DO NOT need to make reservations, but food will be first come, first serve. We'll see you Thursday night!

Today, Republic County Jr./Sr. High School had the honor of being invited to the Kansas State Board of Education meeting to share a student success story from our district. Senior, Breckyn Gaither, bravely shared part of his journey, representing our school and community with honesty and courage. It is not easy to stand in front of a room of educational leaders and speak about your experiences, and he did so with great strength. We are incredibly proud of Breckyn and grateful for the opportunity to highlight the impact that supportive schools, strong relationships, and perseverance can have in a student’s life. While there we spotted our KS Teacher of the Year Finalist, Mrs. Tranda Strnad's picture in the room! Thank you to the Kansas State Board of Education for the opportunity to share his story. 🦬RepCo Proud!
