Today we had the privilege of welcoming KS Representative Lisa Moser to Republic County Jr/Sr High School as our “Principal for the Day”—and what a day it was!
Representative Moser truly experienced what it means to be part of RepCo. She spent time in classrooms seeing the lifelong learning taking place, visited with our outstanding teachers about both the successes and challenges in education, and immersed herself in the daily life of our schools.
From walking alongside our elementary students through the Body Walk, to enjoying the incredible talent of our high school band, to learning about the depth and purpose behind our Senior Projects, she got a firsthand look at what makes our students and staff so special.
One of the highlights of the day was a student-led town hall, where our seniors asked thoughtful, meaningful questions about policies that impact our state. It was powerful to see our students engage, think critically, and have their voices heard.
We are proud to showcase the amazing things happening at RepCo every day—and today was no exception. Thank you, Representative Moser, for spending your day with us and supporting public education!

Today, our Government classes had an outstanding opportunity to engage in a Scholar Exchange with the National Constitution Center, diving deep into Article II: The Executive Branch.
Students explored the Founding Fathers’ intentions for the presidency, examined the constitutional powers of the executive, and discussed how those ideas connect to modern presidential issues and debates. It was a meaningful, real-world extension of the work we do in the classroom, challenging students to think critically about the role of the president—then and now.
A special thank you to the National Constitution Center, along with scholars Kevin Murphy and Dicky Grigg, for leading such an engaging and insightful discussion.
Opportunities like this continue to bring the Constitution to life for our students and strengthen their understanding of American government in action. 🇺🇸
