Prom season is right around the corner!
The Belleville Public Library has a great selection of beautiful dresses, shoes, jewelry, and even some prom attire for the guys. (It’s a stylish and eco-friendly way to get ready for prom, while helping items get a second life! Items are free for the taking, but feel free to make a trade if you so wish!)
If you have any formal wear or prom items you’d like to donate, feel free to drop them off at the library. They are especially looking for more items for the guys!

The Sophomore Class college visits included going to Salina Tech, K-State Salina and KU School of Nursing Salina Campus in the morning. In the afternoon, students had the choice of touring Great Plain, visiting Hays Hair Academy, or volunteering their time putting together backpacks for the Chloe Foundation.
It was a great day with lots of good information.

Feeling so blessed and proud to be a Buffalo today. Today was Senior Project Work Day at the High School, and I am so proud of our Seniors. I am also thankful for such a supportive community, who so selflessly give their time to support our young people. Here is just a few pictures from today. Brekyn and Traven learning how to recondition an engine valve at S & P for an engine rebuild, Aden working on some gears at Gardner Repair shop in his top to bottom rebuild of a 3-Wheeler, and Manny studying the physics of a fire with firefighter Skyler Tuxhorn to better understand how to combat house fires. These are just a few examples of the amazing kids and investment from our community.

🎉 Huge SHOUTOUT and congratulations goes out to Taylor Peters! 🎉
We are proud to share that Taylor’s artwork has been selected to represent the state of Kansas at the national conference hosted by the National Art Education Association in Chicago! Out of all submissions, her piece is one of only 20 works chosen to represent our state March 4-8th!!
As if that wasn’t exciting enough, she has also been selected to be a featured artist on the Kansas Art Education Association webpage/social media platforms on March 23rd, for Youth Art Month!
Taylor, your creativity and hard work continue to inspire us. Watching your artistic voice grow and seeing it recognized at this level is so inspiring! Kansas is lucky to have you representing us! 💙🌻
Way to go!

The Junior High Boy Wrestlers will be traveling to Malcolm today for their JH Wrestling Invite. It is the last meet for the JH wrestlers and it begins at 3:00. Good luck.

RCHS Buffs Boys Basketball is moving on in sub-state as they won their first round game Friday and will now go on the road for a 6 pm second round game at Moundridge versus Moundridge, Go Buffs!
Twice as nice, RCHS Wrestlers added 2 State Medals this weekend, both Jacqalyn Parde and Nick Kendall placed 5th in the Class 3A-1A State Meet at Hays. Jacqalyn Parde is the first girl in RCHS history to make the podium and secure a state medal all while wrestling with a dislocated elbow suffered in her second round match on Friday. That is one tough young lady. We are so very proud of all 11 wrestlers who qualified for state, but so very proud of our 2 state medalists who will add their names to the wall forever in the mat room, Go Buffs!
