Please join us in celebrating the Class of 2026 as they celebrate their final day of high school tomorrow, Tuesday, 5/5. Parents and guests are invited to attend the celebration as we form a tunnel in the back parking lot of the high school at approximately 10:30. We will then proceed into the high school main gym to recognize each of our seniors and his/her future plans.

Track Senior Spotlight: Aden Morris
Aden has been a member of the high school track team for three years, including two seasons in which he balanced both track and baseball. He competes in the field events—long jump and high jump—and is also a member of the 4x100 and 4x800 relay teams. As a junior, Aden qualified for and competed at the state meet in the 4x800 relay. He is aiming to return to state this year in both his relay and individual events.
Best of luck to Aden as he wraps up his senior season. The meets for this week are on Tuesday, May 5th, in Minneapolis and Friday, May 8th, at Rock Hills. Good luck to Aden the Republic County Buffaloes this week!

Track Senior Spotlight- Brekyn Gaither
Brekyn has been a member of the Republic County track team for two years and primarily competes in the 800, 4x800 relay, and 4x400 relay events. During his time in track, he qualified for and placed at state his junior year as part of the 4x800 relay team. In his senior year, the 4x800 team (Aden Morris, Grady Siemsen, and Om Patel) set a new meet record of 8:21 at the Beloit Relays.
Good luck to Brekyn as he finishes his senior year of track. The track meets for this week are on Tuesday, May 5th, in Minneapolis and Friday, May 8th, at Rock Hills. Good luck to Brekyn and the Republic County Buffaloes this week.

Hey Republic County, it is time to find more room in the trophy case-The Republic County Forensics team just got third place at the Class 2A State Forensics Tournament, check out that state trophy! Owen Doyle medaled 3rd in Extemp, Taylor Peters 5th in Extemp, Gwen Cole 3rd in Serious Solo, Taylor Peters 2nd in Humorous, and Julian Swank 5th in Humorous. What a day for our kids, our coaches, and our school so very proud of all of you, Go Buffs!
