The final day of the preseason High School basketball tournament is on Saturday, December 13th. The RepCo girls will begin at 1:00 in Bennington versus Minneapolis. The boys game will follow at 2:30. Good luck.

Republic County basketball hosted Ell-Saline tonight for game number 2 of the preseason tournament.
Republic County Girls won 45-32, bringing their record to 2-2 on the season. JV Girls won, 31-30.
Republic County Boys suffered their first loss of the season, 42-59, bringing their record to 3-1. JV Boys also lost. C Team boys came away with a win, 27-25.
RC basketball will be in action Saturday in Bennington vs Minneapolis.

Many grandparents and other family members are helping to raise children these days. Some of these children have been in the foster system, but many have not. Life circumstances have needed family to step in and support these children. This can be overwhelming and you may be looking for resources to help. Today is day #2 of the High School Basketball preseason tournament. The Buffs will start their basketball action against Ell-Saline at 4:30 with JV games. Varsity girls will begin at 6:00 with boys to follow. Good luck to all teams. A baked potato meal will be available at the game tonight as well. Serving begins at 5:00 in the cafeteria.

Be sure to check out all the Christmas trees in the lobby tomorrow night, during the Christmas concert. The Jr Class finally got theirs decorated today, after spending the last couple days slicing fruit and stringing cranberries and popcorn!

PARENTS & GUARDIANS of JH/HS Students: On TUES, DEC 16th RepCo will be hosting the Holiday Duals Wrestling Tournament starting at 1pm. If your child(ren) is in JH or is a non wrestling HS student we have some exciting plans for the afternoon. Information attached. Parents, you may sign your child out to support the wrestlers but if they are a JH student, we ask that a parent/guardian be there to supervise their child as teachers will be with groups outside the building. Thank you to all the community members that are helping make this afternoon possible for our students! There are many more than the letter states and we thank you all!

Our chemistry students have been busy growing crystals — and the results are pretty cool! Watching them change from red to green sparked great conversations about chemical reactions, patience, and the science behind crystal formation.

It's the preseason tournament for the high school basketball teams. Game #1 will be on Tuesday, December 9th at Bennington High School. Games begin at 4:30 pm with JV girls followed by Varsity girls at 6:00 and then Varsity Boys in the main gym. The JV boys followed by 2 quarters of C team boys will be in the west gym at 4:30. Good luck to all teams.
