The last quarter of junior high FACS students completed their sewing unit. They learned how to use the sewing machine, hand sew and a few students know how to use the seam ripper.

There will be a Drivers Education meeting for parents and students taking the course. The meeting will be Wednesday, May 13th at 5:00 pm in the Front Flex Room of the HS. Please bring the student's birth certificate (must be 14 by June 1), driver's permit if he/she has one, and payment of $200. It is not too late to sign up your student. Please have your student sign up in the JH/HS Office or call 785-527-2281 and we will put him/her on the list.

The JV Golf team travels to Clifton-Clyde to compete in round 2 of the JV Scramble Triangular on Thursday, April 30th. The meet begins at 4:00. Good luck to all golfers.

The FBLA National Qualifiers will be working the concession stand on Thursday, April 30th at the Junior High Track meet. The meet begins at 12:00. Support these students as they raise funds for their trip and the Junior High athletes in their events.

Lady Buffs traveled to Plainville today for softball winning the first game 18-12,it was chilly and windy at the ballpark. The Lady Buffs completed the sweep winning the second game 22-10 in 5 innings, Go Lady Buffs!

Good luck to the lady softball team as they head to Plainville for their game against the Cardinals. It is a double-header game that starts at 3:00 at the Max Malin Memorial Ballpark.

The JV Golf team travels to Minneapolis today for the Minneapolis JV Golf Invite. The meet begins at 3:00 with the schools of Beloit, Ellsworth, Ell-Saline, Republic County, and Minneapolis. Good luck to the Rep Co golfers.

The WCHS Track Invitational Meet is today, April 28th, at Washington County High School (115 N. D Street) beginning at 3:00. We wish all the athletes the best of luck today.
Teams competing today are Axtell, Centralia, Clifton-Clyde, Hanover, Linn, Onaga, Pike Valley, Randolph-Blue Valley, Republic County, Valley Heights, and Washington County.

Senior Track Spotlight: Ava Thumann

Ava is 4 year member and a 4 year letter winner of the Republic County Track Team. She competes in the running events of 800M, 4X400 Relay, and 4X800 relay. She has competed very well during her track career including being a 2 time state qualifier where she placed in the 4X800 and 4x400 during her sophomore year and placed in the 4x800 during her junior year.

Good luck to Ava and the track team as they travel to Washington for the Washington County Track Meet today, April 28th.

Varsity Golf traveled to Southeast of Saline's tournament at the Salina Municipal Golf Course. Greyson Novak shot an 86, medaling at 11th place. The team placed 6th out of 13 teams. Go Buffs!

Ten members from the Republic County FBLA chapter will be competing at Nationals in San Antonio on June 29- July 2nd.

Please help us raise funds for this wonderful opportunity by attending a free will donation pulled pork meal on Wednesday, April 29th from 5:00-6:30 in downtown Belleville.

Senior Track Spotlight- Korey Nutsch
Korey is a four year member of the track program and has lettered for 2 years. He competes in Javelin, Discus, and Shotput. He will be competing at the Washington County Track Invitational on Tuesday, April 28th. Good luck to Korey and the track team.

RCHS forensics crew is ready to share their skills with you tonight and Thursday at pre-state forensics! Students will be sharing their performances that they are taking to state competition this Saturday. Events start at 7pm in the cafeteria. Admission is free will donation. See you there! ♥️🦬💙

The Republic County Varsity Golf team will be competing on Monday, April 27th at the Salina Municipal Golf Course- 2500 E Crawford Street. Tee off time is at 9:00 am. Good luck to the varsity golf team.
