Come help us celebrate our State Forensics Award Winners! Congratulations! Emma Hubert: 1st in impromptu and 4th in humorous. Maelin Johnson: 4th in extemp, 4th in LD debate, and 1st in duet with Olivia Rieke. Olivia also medaled in impromptu with 5th place.

Carlie and I are SO SO proud of what these girls pulled off today. Not only did they defend the state champion title in duet, but also brought home gold in impromptu! Individual results were Emma Hubert: 1st in impromptu and 4th in humorous, Maelin Johnson: 4th in extemp, 4th in LD debate, and 1st in duet with Olivia Rieke. Olivia also medaled in impromptu with 5th place. I’d also like to brag on how epically they all performed as a team. Despite only having 6/16 entries, these ladies placed 7th as a team out of 27 teams at state. That is a feat! Imagine what we could do with more buffaloes in our herd. Go buffs, go buffs, go buffs, go! Ryan Nelson Carlie Jo Enns Jaycie Stindt Laura-Birrell Leite Also, a HUGE shoutout to Mr. Nelson for training Maelin in a brand new event for our school’s history (Lincoln Douglas debate with a 3-2 record). He has a huge heart for forensics and we are so fortunate for his willingness to share it with us.

RCHS forensicators are bringing dynamite today. They are small, but pack a punch! ALL events that broke into semi-finals have continued to finals! The buffaloes will have 4 state medalists in 5 events. OABAAB! ❤️💙❤️💙

RCHS forensics is going strong! Four ladies are representing the team today at state champs: Emma Hubert, Olivia Rieke, Maelin Johnson, and Sam Poppe. Three participants double broke into semi finals. Emma Hubert broke impromptu and humorous solo, Olivia Rieke broke impromptu and duet with Maelin Johnson, and Maelin broke with extemporaneous speaking as well. Semis will narrow down the competition from 12 to 6 in each event, so wish our ladies "broken legs"!

RCHS Lady Buffs softball lost the second game to Beloit 13-1.

Sixth grade STEM worked this week on creating individual putt-putt holes and used Sphero robots controlled by iPads as their golf balls.

RCHS Lady Buffs softball loses the first game to Beloit 10-0. We celebrated the 3 Seniors between the games. Thank-you to Emily Hansen, Trinity Hartsock, and Jada Zollinger for playing softball. Go Buffs!!

In STEM, 3rd grade created windmills that had to be strong enough to stay standing and rotate in the wind!
