The Junior High Buffalo Cross Country team traveled to Clay Center to run in some tough, hot conditions. Our runners all run very well setting several personal bests. Congratulations to 7th graders Lucy Oman and who placed 7th and Aalyria Phitts Rodriguez who placed 9th. Isaac Anderson also placed 7th in the 8th grade boys race. Go Buffs!!!

To celebrate Constitution Day, over 12,000 third graders across Kansas gathered via zoom to learn about the Constitution, three branches of government, and practice the sixth amendment right to a fair trial by participating in a mock trial to determine if a student was guilty of running in the hall. Mrs. Marston's class voted not guilty!

The RCHS Robotics class has been hard at work building their skills. They have been working on programming, CAD design, 3D printing, CNC machine operation, robot driving, and fabrication skills. The team is looking forward to the BEST competition this year in Wichita and plan to capitalize upon our amazing first-year performance last year.






East Elementary School pictures are tomorrow, Wednesday, September 18th! Order forms were sent home with students or you may use the link below if you would like to order. Good luck to the Republic County Volleyball teams at SES today. Games begin at 5:00.


Jv football ended the night with a score of 6 to 20. Didn't come away with a win, but a good game.



Today is the day that the book fair is open. We are here from 7:30 to 4:00 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. On Tuesday and Thursday we have extended hours and will stay open until 7:00. Support our book fair by making a purchase for yourself, family, friends, or from the teacher wish list.




The JV football team travels to Ellsworth for their second game of the season. Go Buffs!


The book fair opens tomorrow morning at 7:30 at the Republic County Jr/Sr High School Library. Come support.





JV volleyball ended the day dropping a tough one to Phillipsburg 24-26, 14-25, going 1-4 on the day. Proud of these ladies for battling hard all day!

Ended the day with the first win of the season against central Plains 25-19, 25-23.


JV volleyball continues tournament action at Smith Center, dropping two to Beloit 18-25, 16-25, and taking down Concordia in a thriller 25-21, 16-25, 18-16. One more match-up to go! Keep battling Lady Buffs!

Sam Anderson was our top boy runner today at Wamego finishing 64th out of 160 runners in the JV division, Go Buffs!


Ellie Callaway finished in 8th place at the Wamego XC meet today out of 132 runners! Great Job Ellie, Go Buffs!


JV volleyball is in action today at the JV Smith Center Tournament. They are battling hard, falling short to TMP 15-25, 14-25, and Smith Center 23-25, 21-25. More scores to come later - keep battling Lady Buffs!
