The Republic County Junior and Senior High Cross Country Teams are hosting their home meet today, September 25th at the Belleville Country Club.

Times are as follows:
4:00 JH/Boys/Girls (2 miles)
4:25 Varsity Girls and JV Girls (5K)
5:00 Varsity Boys and JV Boys (5K)

We wish all competitors the best of luck today in their race. A special shout out to seniors competing at their last home meet- Ally Bombardier, Manny Motto, Samuel Anderson, Brekyn Gaither, and Dakota Clausen-Peters

The Junior High Buffs travel to Ellsworth for football today.

The Community Connections FACS class spent some time with Christine Strutt as she shared Connor's, her son, journey that lead to the start of Connor's Cuddles. The students helped tie Cuddle blankets that will go to children with life-threatening illnesses.

SENOR PARENTS!! We will be holding a FAFSA night for you and your student. Monica Thayer from the River Valley Extension District will tell you all you need to know about the FAFSA and completing it. We encourage students to bring their Chromebook and you can work on your applications so that if you have issues or questions Monica can help you. Please put Monday night, Oct. 13th at 7:00 on your calendar!

RCJH XC was cancelled due to too much rain, today at SE Saline. It will not be re-scheduled.

Due to the rain, there will be NO school marathon. Also, don't forget there is no marathon tomorrow due to picture day!

Join us for the District Spelling Bee on Wednesday, September 24th at 1:00 in the new gym.

The Lady Buffs Volleyball team went 1-4 on the weekend. Many good moments, but came up short in many sets. Keep battling in practice to get better to become a stronger team, Go Lady Buffs!

The Book Fair is still open on Monday and Tuesday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Thanks to all who have visited us last week. Increased sales allow us to purchase materials and books to update our library.

The JV Football team will travel to Lyons High School on Monday, September 22 for their third game of the season. Kick off is at 5:00. Good luck Buffs!

RCHS Battlin Buffs Football is up 24-0 at half over the Lyons Lions. Go Buffs!
