The Junior High Sports Teams are playing their last games at home for the season on Thursday, October 9th. It will also be 8th grade parent night for all junior high sports. Thank you to all the parents for your support throughout the season.

JH Volleyball games begin at 4:15, parent night will be before the final A team game.
JH Football games begin at 5:00 with parent night at 4:40.
JH XC will be recognized during halftime of the football game.

The Lady Buffs Volleyball team win 5 of 6 matches tonight versus Sacred Heart. They won both B and C matches and split the varsity matches, Go Lady Buffs!
This morning on our art room nature walk, Travis made a friend! It made it all the way back to our room for a photo shoot. Once it warmed up, we let it go back outside. This will make an awesome reference photo for our charcoal drawings!!!

RCHS JV volleyball traveled to Thayer Central tonight for a quad! They beat Fairbury 25-12, 24-26, 15-3.
In the championship against Thayer Central, they were up 6-5 in the first set when the games got called due to a power outage.
Disappointed they didn't get to finish, they were doing great!
Good Luck to the JH and HS Cross Country Teams as they travel to Ellsworth for their race on Tuesday, October 7th.

Republic County High School celebrated the Belleville HS 1995 Class 3A State Championship football team tonight at the game versus Herington. This was the 30th Anniversary of that remarkable season, Go Buffs!

The Fiber Arts class has been busy creating original sewing projects from new and recycled fabrics. Skirt from old jeans and ties, pillow from upholstery samples, and shorts with pattern.. An original design HOCO dress was made in less than 2 weeks (not pictured). More creations to be seen in the future!
Enjoy the day of homecoming activities and then go to Mankato tomorrow to support the Republic County Volleyball team at the Rock Hills Tournament. Games begin at 9:00. Times listed are approximate.
