Powercat Preview Day is a great way for a high school student to explore all that KSU has to offer. The students get to experience exploratory academic and general information sessions.
Powercat Preview Day is free to attend and includes lunch in the on-campus dining centers. The day will give students the opportunity to meet with representatives from their academic area of interest, better understand K-State's admissions requirements, see residence hall spaces, and get a glimpse into life as a Wildcat.
These days are Friday Oct. 10th or Friday, Nov 14th. To register click the link.

🎉 Shoutout to our incredible Seniors! 🎉
This year’s Senior Project is off to a phenomenal start, with students taking on bold and innovative ideas that connect directly to real-world challenges. Here are just a few early highlights (with many more to come!):
✨ Projects in the works:
A post-surgery app to help patients with wound care instructions, pain management tips, and physical therapy exercises.
An interactive activity and engagement guide designed to boost engagement and learning for elementary students.
Advancing sensor technology to make cars safer on the road.
💡 Big questions our students are tackling:
How can nurses best prioritize care in fast-paced ER situations?
How can rural communities support veterans’ ongoing access to mental health services?
How can diesel technicians improve performance and durability affordably?
🤝 Mentorship matters!
Our seniors are learning directly from experts, including:
A Kansas State University Nuclear Engineering professor
An Emergency Room RN at Stormont Vail in Topeka
A Diesel Mechanic right here in Belleville
👏 We’re so proud of our young people thus far as our students are taking ownership of their learning by tackling real-world problems, building professional connections, and creating solutions that make a genuine impact in our community and beyond. It’s not easy work — but that’s what makes it real, and that’s what makes it matter.
