Manny Motto is a first year member of the wrestling team. He has enjoyed being a part of team that has competed well at their many meets this year. Come support the team at their final home meet of the year.


FCCLA attended the District C elections and STAR Events contest on Wednesday. We helped judge STAR events, and Jasmine was elected as District C secretary. Congratulations Jasmine!




Elly Williams has been a part of the wrestling program as team manger since her seventh grade year in junior high. She has traveled to many meets over the last six years and has seen a lot of good wrestling not only from Republic County wrestlers but also those from across the state. She has dedicated a lot of her time to helping support the wrestling program and it is greatly appreciated. Elly and her fellow senior teammates will be recognized tonight at their final home meet of the year.

Jacqalyn Parde joined the wrestling team her junior year of high school and has contributed greatly to the success of the women's program. She has demonstrated that it is never too late to try something new if you are willing to put the work in. She qualified for state her junior year and looks to make state again her senior year. Come support Jacqalyn and her teammates tonight at their home league meet starting at 3:00.




Carson Beavers has been a part of the high school wrestling program all four years. He began wrestling during his fifth grade year in the youth wrestling program. This year he received the most outstanding wrestler award at the Blue Stem Jamboree. Come support Carson and the team at the League Wrestling Meet on Thursday, February 5th at home. Wrestling action begins at 3:00.

Congratulations to Dakota Clausen- Peters for receiving the 2025 KCCTFCA Cross Country Academic All State Award. This award honors high school runners for their athletic performance with high academic achievement.
Ava is a four year wrestler and is the first female to join the team at Republic County when the women's program began in 2022. She has continued to help build the program and will be the first female to be a 4 year graduating senior of the program. She has had a successful career in wrestling including being the first female of Republic County to qualify for state her sophomore year and having a second year appearance during her junior year. Wish her luck for the rest of her season.

We are honored to welcome Detective Justin Broxterman, a 22-year veteran of the Topeka Police Department and a Task Force Officer with the FBI Violent Crimes Against Children Task Force. Detective Broxterman works directly with cases involving the online exploitation of children and will provide age-appropriate information based on real trends currently impacting communities like ours. Thank you to the Republic County Health Department, ASPEC, and The Maya Project for working with us to get this important project set up for our students and community. A letter has also been emailed out to parents/guardians with further information.
