Congratulations to our very own Ashley Price, food service director, for placing 2nd in the OPAA Recipe Showdown earlier this week. Ashley’s recipe of the Mexican Rice Bowl will become a new menu item for OPAA served in many districts across the several states region.



Madison Price started a new job this week as she met with the Dairy Queen staff and learned of her job expectations and requirements. Everyone at RCHS is super excited for this transition opportunity for Madi. Go Buffs!

USD 109 and East Elementary were excited to host Community Coffee this morning. Thank you to all who came, enjoyed a great breakfast, took a tour, and shared the amazing things happening in our community.



Seniors Gage Alstatt and Blake Aurand shared their Senior Projects with the RCJSHS SITE Council tonight.


Mrs. Aurand setup Reality U for our students Grades 8-12 today in the gym. Through the Reality U program, we help students gain important financial literacy knowledge to help them plan for their future while recognizing the importance of their education today and how it is tied to their financial future. It’s all packed into a highly interactive 75-minute simulation of life!



Future Maker Mobile Learning Lab from Wichita State is working with our 8th and 9th Graders today. The FutureMaker Lab Program and mobile unit are a partnership between WSU Tech College and Goodwill Industries to introduce students to careers in science, technology, engineering and math.

Last Tuesday this team of educators embarked on an adventure to Minneapolis, to the Trusted Leadership Summit. They spent two full days learning effective ways to improve culture,increase connections and impact from experts around the world. Such an amazing experience for our faculty!
