6th grade got to use their new LEGO SPIKE Prime kits today during STEM.




There will be no Jr High track practice today. Please make sure track athletes have transportation home after school.
Due to the forecasted weather, all activities have been cancelled/postponed for this afternoon/evening. Please look for rescheduled dates to be forthcoming if dates can be secured. Practices will take place weather permitting.
Kindergarten created baskets out of 1 piece of paper, tape, and a plate in STEM today. Their baskets had to hold 20 objects!




Senior art students enjoyed a day at More Than Lemons in Holton, KS...We ARTED the day away!

Show season starts next week for the Buffs! Alex Dyke finished up his acrylic painting today. It’s been fun watching his painting grow and change these past few months. 🎨




Come on out tonight and support your Republic County High School Seniors at the Senior Project Showcase from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Main Gym. They have finished their presentations and would love to show the community the outstanding work they are so passionate about. NOTE: One senior will be having a performance piece specifically taking place at 6:45, and this will be in the new gym. GO BUFFS!!!
Republic County Buffaloes REPRESENTED today at league forensics bringing home 2nd as a team, as well as three league champions with two events respectively. Champion titles were brandished by Erika Schultz in informative speaking, and Cassey Robertson and Jaycie Stindt in duet acting. In total, the buffaloes had 13 out of 15 events break into finals and received 8 top 3 finishes. Dylan McCartney finished 4th in poetry and 3rd in extemp speaking. With their individual events, Jaycie Stindt and Cassey Robertson placed 2nd and 3rd in humorous solo respectively. Promising freshman Olivia Rieke and Maelin Johnson brought home 2nd in improvised duet acting as well as individual placings of Maelin (4th in informative), and Olivia (6th in serious). New qualifications for state festival include Sarah Rieke, 3rd in prose, and Emma Hubert with 3rd in serious as well as 4th in prose. Sophia Rieke also broke into finals and finished 5th in poetry. We had students break into finals for the first time today, and brought home our first team title for the season. Thank you buffaloes! 🦬❤️💙
