Regional Cross Country was held at Alma-Wabaunsee today, the girls finished in 7th and the boys in 9th. The day included temps of 71+ and very windy conditions. Ellie Callaway qualified for Class 2A State XC next week at the Wamego Golf Course by finishing in 8th place. Congratulations Ellie!!

The Junior class went on a campus visit to Cloud County Community College. They gave us the full campus tour, showed us dorm life,fed us, talked scholarships, even helped us deliver a baby! It was a wonderful experience.

RC advanced art classes got to choose their project focus for the past couple weeks, moving forward into the new 9 weeks. Graham Jensen chose to dive deeper into photography. He has learned more than he ever thought possible about cameras, continuing to discover more each day, and is excited to start working in the dark room this 9 weeks. He is currently completing various photo scavenger hunts. Check out this sweet onion photo I found on his camera from today… 🧅

Sixth grade students are wrapping up their Hatchet novel study by creating dioramas. These will be on display at the Jr. High Wax Museum Tuesday, October 25.
It's that time of year again! Hearing and Vision screenings are coming up at USD 109. If you would like to opt your student out from these services, please stop by the school office and pick up a form. Screenings will begin in November.
Jr high basketball parent meetings are Thursday, October 20th at 5:30 pm. Girls will be at East Gym, boys will be in Mr. Erkenbrack’s classroom at RCJSHS.
