A group of Republic County band students travelled to Manhattan today to watch the K-State Wind Ensemble perform their Spring Concert. We were treated to a percussion concerto, a double oboe concerto, and three other professionally performed pieces.

The high school library is getting an update! Workers from the CKLS helped our high school librarian, Carson Klima to clear out 3,563 old books. This is to make room for the shelves to be replenished with updated, more modern books for our students!

RCHS is off to CCCC today for High School Art Day!!
Cloud County Community College invites the community to view over 12 area high schools artwork in the Arley Bryant Gymnasium from 9 - 1.
Awards will be given for Best of Show and Best of Category for each of these categories: Pencil, Colored Pencil, Acylic Painting, Oil Painting, Mixed-media, Ceramics and Jewelry Design. Other exciting news this year that will be different than the past is that we are offering the "Best in Show" a $500 scholarship to Cloud County Community College.
RCHS Softball got a split today in Sylvan, losing the first in extra innings and winning the nightcap 7-6. Go Buffs!
Reminder-8th graders need to be at school at 7:30 tomorrow morning to leave for Beloit for their activity at NCK Vo-Tech!
Republic County Golfers place 2nd as a team at Minneapolis. Trey Melton placed 5th and Kaden Novak placed 6th individually.
Congratulations to our very own Ashley Price, food service director, for placing 2nd in the OPAA Recipe Showdown earlier this week. Ashley’s recipe of the Mexican Rice Bowl will become a new menu item for OPAA served in many districts across the several states region.
Madison Price started a new job this week as she met with the Dairy Queen staff and learned of her job expectations and requirements. Everyone at RCHS is super excited for this transition opportunity for Madi. Go Buffs!
