Congratulations to our RCHS forensics team and their accomplishments at our first tournament at Nemaha Central. Olivia Rieke and Maelin Johnson captured first in duet acting. Sam Poppe finished third in impromptu speaking and fourth in serious solo. Also competing in impromptu was Owen Doyle, finishing in sixth, and Chase Hoge, finishing in tenth out of 25 competitors. Sarah Rieke also competed in the very competitive poetry event. Overall, the buffs had a great first outing and we are excited for our next tournament at Rock Creek!

State Bound!!
Congratulations to our RCHS Scholars Bowl team on placing 3rd at Regionals yesterday in Hays. This qualifies them for the State Scholars Bowl meet next Saturday in Wakeeney! Team members are Sarah Rieke, Hanna Orr, Samuel Anderson, A.J. Polansky, Dillon Burnett, and Isaiah Evert.
The JH Scholars Bowl team competed in their first meet of the season at Minneapolis on Thursday night. Both teams did an excellent job with 7th grade bringing home 2nd place medals!

Five RCHS art students spent today in Logan, helping hang the Dane Hansen High School Art Exhibit. The exhibit opens on February 5th at 2pm, and is up until February 27th.
Regional Wrestling is at Beloit on Saturday, February 18th.
