
Thanks to everyone who came over to Pike Valley this evening to support our kiddos in art and in the YEC exhibit. We had a great evening!





Sixth grade STEM spent today creating Pop-up Interior Houses. The houses are created by using paper and folds to make them appear 3D.





Be sure to stop by Pike Valley High School tonight to check out the Youth Entrepreneur Challenge. RCHS art students along with PVHS will have some awesome art work that will be on display, featuring agricultural in Republic County! 🌾 🌽 🐄


Day 5: Fine Art’s Month
Today we are featuring 2018 RCHS graduate, Laurel Fischer! Laurel loves drawing and creating wildlife portraits in colored pencil, and still finds time to create today! She has been a participant and placer, in the professional/amateur ROAR Art show the past two years.
In high school she participated in art, league art, concert band, pep band, marching band, and jazz band. Currently Laurel is attending K-State, where she is double majoring in drawing and metal smithing!

JH Scholars Bowl competed at Ellsworth on Thursday. The twelve teams were highly competive! In the end, our 8th grade team pushed through to finals coming home with 3rd place medals! Our next meet is Monday at Sacred Heart. GO BUFFS!!!

Sixth grade science lab created circuits today. The new Squishy Circuits were purchased with the Republic County Community Foundation Grant and are a hands-on way students can learn about conductors and insulators. Each animal had eyes that lit up if they completed the circuit correctly.




Be sure to check out the art exhibit next week, at Pike Valley, during the Youth Entrepreneur Challenge. We will be featuring agricultural in Republic County. 🌾

March is Women's History Month, kindergarten just learned about Amelia Earhart in STEM! Check out their airplanes. ✈️






The RCHS forensics team will be needing judges for their home meet on Saturday, April 1st and possibly a few for the league tournament on Wednesday, March 22nd. Please contact Darsha or Carlie Enns if interested in helping!

Ms. Campos is doing amazing things in the high school library! This month celebrating Black History Month! She also has things very organized and ready for students to check out books!





From the 8th grade Cupcake sales our class bought two Ninja air fryers. Today we tested the recipe for air fryer garlic bread. We used fresh garlic, sliced French bread, butter/olive oil, and shredded mozzarella!
