Fbla District IV conference was hosted by Republic County. A huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this a successful day. A huge congratulations goes out to Elly Williams for she is the 2024-2025 District IV Vice President. Conference results will be posted soon.

The Joey Zadina Memorial Scholarship is for any senior that plans to attend the University of Kansas next year. This is a one year $1,000 scholarship. The deadline to apply is April 15th. Information about the scholarship and the application are available from the counselors.

Students in grades 6, 8, 10 and 12 will have the opportunity to take the Kansas Communities that Care Survey tomorrow and Wednesday. Parent permission forms were sent home; however, we have had some difficulty getting them back due to all the days missed. Please ask your son/daughter about this form if you have not seen it. Access to the survey is on usd109.org if you would to review the questions your son/daughter will be asked. This survey is completely anonymous and entirely optional; however, we really do need the consent forms returned. Thank you!

Next week, 35 RC art students will have their art heading to Logan, KS for a display at the Dane Hansen Art Museum. This student display will be up for the Month of February. Here is a sneak peek at some of the 50 pieces traveling to Logan.

What a fun day for 8th Grade ELA Poetry Cafe! We read poems, snapped our fingers, and drank coffee, hot chocolate, and apple cider. All of the students did a great job performing. Thank you to Feathered Nest with their help with the drinks!
