SUPPLEMENTAL P-EBT:
WHO: School-aged children who received free or reduced price school meals during the 2022-2023 school year.
Children who attend virtual school or are homeschooled are not eligible for Supplemental P-EBT.
Children who attended a Head Start program and are eligible for free or reduced-price school lunch, are not eligible for Supplemental P-EBT.
Benefit amount: Each eligible child will receive a benefit of $120.
Distribution timeline: Due to complexity of gathering necessary data, benefits will be distributed in two phases:
Phase one: Auto-issuance of benefits to families known to DCF, January 2024
Phase two: Families may request benefits using online portal, February 2024. MUST request by February 29, 2024.
If you think your children qualify and haven’t received benefits, please go to the DCF – Site, online portal.
