Senior Parents:
The yearbook class is reminding parents of seniors to please submit a senior photo (vertical) and baby picture to Nicol Parde at nparde@usd109.org by Thursday, March 6th. These photos will also be used for the senior slide show on graduation day. The senior picture will also be submitted to the local paper and be used for the senior class display in the hallway.
Optional: The submission of a senior parent ad with payment is due on Thursday, March 6th as well.

Due to some rescheduling of the Blue-Valley Randolph Softball and Baseball games we have moved the Winter Sports Banquet to Monday-March 24, 2025. It had been scheduled for Tuesday.

Due to expected bad weather tomorrow the Junior High wrestling meet in Malcolm, Nebraska on Tuesday has been canceled.

RCHS Lady Buffs drops their 1st round game to Conway Springs in a tightly contested basketball game tonight losing 34-43.


Owen Weatherhead pulls off the trifecta today as he pins his opponent to win the 5th place match at 144. Owen pinned 3 opponents today to cap off an unbelievable career. He also surpassed the 150 win mark yesterday, great job Owen! Go Buffs!

RCHS brought the heat with yet another small, but mighty, task force! This weekend they took on 11 other teams at Abilene and returned with 4th place! Out of 7 events, forensicators broke 4 into finals. Finals results were: Owen Doyle with 2nd in extemp and 2nd in impromptu (his 3rd time in a row qualifying both events this season); Gwen Cole with 2nd in serious solo and qualifying for champs; and Peyton Splichal with 1st in informative speaking. Layna Canfield showed great improvement with 11th in prose, and Haidyn Price opened her season in the top half of competitors for prose and poetry. Way to go BUFFS!


Owen Weatherhead loses 4-10 and will wrestle for 5th place at the Boys 3A-2A-1A State Wrestling Tournament.

Owen Weatherhead survives a late takedown by the Hoxie wrestler to go down 5-6, only to reverse him and pin for the win with :21 seconds to go. On to the medal round. Go Buffs!

Kaydence Shelly finishes season with a loss in the heartbreaker/blood round. What a great season for this young lady, only a sophomore. Republic County is so very proud of her and this outstanding season. Go Lady Buffs!

Kaydence Shelly wins her consolation quarterfinal 18-7 to advance at the 3A-2A-1A Girls State Wrestling.

RCHS Girls basketball in Conway Springs tonight for 1st RD action against the Conway Springs Cardinals, Go Lady Buffs!


After the first matches, Owen won by tech fall and Kaydence won. Jacqalyn and Ava lost by pins.

Good luck to the girls on Friday, February 28th as they head to Conway Springs for their first round of basketball in sub-state. Game time is at 6:00.
