Hello, my name is Zelma Siemsen, and for my senior project I am organizing a panel discussion featuring medical professionals who will answer questions about the importance of breast cancer screening, early diagnosis, and treatment. To ensure a meaningful and informative event, I am preparing a list of questions in advance for the panelists. To achieve this goal, I am posting this survey for individuals to provide questions for the panel.
The event will take place on March 15th at 5:30 p.m. at Republic County Hospital in the education room and is free for all attendees.

College visits with freshmen and sophomores today.
On Wednesday, the following classes will be doing college tours:
Freshmen will travel to Manhattan. They will leave at 7:30 and return at 5:00.
Sophomores will travel to Salina. They will leave at 8:00 and return at 3:45.
Please be sure to bring money for lunch and dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
Juniors can NOT have cell phones on them during the ACT. All phones must be turned into the office tomorrow morning to be locked up, until after the test is complete. Thank you for your cooperation!

The community is invited to wish the state qualifiers good luck at the state wrestling meet. The pep rally will be at 9:30 in the main gym.

The high school boys wrestling team will be traveling to Hoisington on Saturday, February 22nd to compete at Regionals. The top four in each weight class will qualify for State Wrestling. Matches begin at 10:00 am and will be viewable on the Republic County Wrestling facebook page or you can also listen on 92.1 or kr92country.com.
The 4th grade teachers and classes have received over 90 postcards!! We love "traveling" with all of our friends over the United States.! Thank you to everyone who has helped us on this project. You are amazing! Here are the states that we are missing:

The JH Scholars Bowl teams came away with hardware once again! We competed at Rock Hills against five other teams. Many of the rounds were very tight ….. tiebreakers nearly every time! Eighth grade ended with a 4 and 1 record which earned them second place. The seventh grade went 3 and 2 which also earn second place!

Edit: JH Wrestling meet has been rescheduled to next Tuesday, February 25th.
The JH League Wrestling Meet is being hosted by Republic County on Monday, February 17th and will begin at 3:00.
JH Boys will be in the main gym with girls in the new gym.

Due to pending weather and travel by so many league schools the JH NCAA League wrestling is postponed until next Tuesday-Feb 25, it will still be held in Belleville with a 3 pm start.
