Thank you for all in attendance last night at the first-ever Republic County-hosted Debate Watch event. After the debate, the small-group moderated discussions were fruitful, thank you to those who participated. Our goal of fostering an environment of civil discourse and learning how to engage fellow citizens respectfully was achieved. Our Republic County Seniors will continue to engage with the issues at all levels: city, county, state, and nation. We appreciate the Blair Theater and the community at-large for providing this learning opportunity for our kids.

Great day to be a buffalo!!!
Today, we started a new annual tradition at Republic County. The senior class were able to select and paint parking spots in the back parking lot that are reserved for them during the school day. The day went fantastic, with many families pitching in to assist their students as they staked their claim to part of the campus. It was awesome to see the amazing support from our Buffalo families.
Special thanks goes out to Belleville Hometown Lumber for meeting all of our painting needs prior to and throughout the day, and also Northside Pizza and More for sending out lunch for the kids. A thanks also goes out to Mrs. Cravens, Mrs. Knedler, and our maintenance staff for allowing our students to cultivate their creativity and having a space for themselves. A shoutout to Mrs. Hubert for assisting with the planning in making this day a reality, and lastly thanks to Mrs. Strnad for without her our artistic pursuits would not have been nearly as fruitful.
Here is a folder of pictures from the day.
