Want your middle school student to have the opportunity to explore the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math? This is an excellent opportunity for them. Saturday, Nov. 8th from 9-3:30 KSU is offering a hands-on all day workshop where students get to work with KSU professors and students. The theme for the day is "Eco-Innovators" students will explore their environment and explore ways to improve the areas they live in. There is a $50 fee, but there are scholarships available. Ally Bombardier has been active in running races since she was a kid with her dad. She joined the cross country team in high school and has been a part of the team for 4 years including two trips to state. We wish her the best of luck at Regionals this Saturday.

Aden Morris is the team's offensive tight end and defensive corner. He has been playing football since the first grade. He played flag football from 1st-5th grade and was part of the first RepCo Youth Football team which began his 6th grade year.

Don't forget that tonight is the FREE showing of Can't Look Away at 7:00 p.m. at the Blair theater. This shows the negative impact of social media on our youth. High School aged students are encouraged to attend. It is not recommended for students under the age of 14.

The RCHS Volleyball team played Valley Heights in the first round of the Class 2A Regional Volleyball tournament at Hillsboro. The girls lost 20-25, 15-25. They played Hillsboro next, losing 10-25, 13-25. The Lady Buffs will play the Whitewater-Remington Lady Broncos in the final round of play. The girls won 20-25, 25-21, 25-21. Nice win to finish the season, Go Lady Buffs!

The RCHS Battlin' Buffs football team dominated the Valley Heights football team tonight winning 36-11. This sets up a winner-take all game with Sacred Heart next Friday, in Belleville for the district championship. The Buffs are 6-1 on the season, Go Buffs!

The Robotics team has been preparing for competition. They will be headed to Wichita on Saturday, October 18th to test out their robot. From there, they will make adjustments and get geared up for Game Day which is on November 8th.
