Farmer is the teams offensive tackle and defensive middle line backer. Farmer was also a part of the flag football and tackle football programs growing up and will be playing on Friday night at the Republic County Football Stadium. Kick off is at 7:00. Good luck to Farmer and the Buffs Team.

Republic County is hosting the last regular season football game on Friday, October 24th versus Sacred Heart with kick off at 7:00. Prior to kick off, we will be recognizing the seniors of the football and cross country programs. There will also be the passing of the Buffalo Spirit before the game starts. In addition to these activities, Pink Out is being honored with proceeds going to the Strnad Family and Republic County Hospital Women's Programs. For half-time, the Junior High Band will perform their songs and the high school cheerleaders will follow to show off their routine.
It's going to be a great night to be a Buffalo and support our team as they fight for a win toward their current 6-1 record.

Republic County High School Football Spotlight: Carson Beavers
Carson is the team's offensive tight end and defensive end. He has been a part of the Republic County team all four years of high school and also played a few years of flag football in his younger years. Carson is #25 and the team will be competing on Friday night versus the Knights. Come support.

Connor Martin is the team's offensive tight end and defensive outside linebacker. Connor started playing football in the NCK Flag Football League and has continued through out his high school years. He and the rest of his senior teammates will be recognized at Friday nights home game versus Sacred Heart. Go Buffs!

Want your middle school student to have the opportunity to explore the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math? This is an excellent opportunity for them. Saturday, Nov. 8th from 9-3:30 KSU is offering a hands-on all day workshop where students get to work with KSU professors and students. The theme for the day is "Eco-Innovators" students will explore their environment and explore ways to improve the areas they live in. There is a $50 fee, but there are scholarships available. Cross Country Senior Spotlight: Ally Bombardier
Ally Bombardier has been active in running races since she was a kid with her dad. She joined the cross country team in high school and has been a part of the team for 4 years including two trips to state. We wish her the best of luck at Regionals this Saturday.

Last year, we began a special tradition of our seniors and kindergarteners meeting at the 50-yard line before a varsity football game. We’re excited to continue this tradition of passing on the Buffalo spirit on Friday, October 24th.

Aden Morris is the team's offensive tight end and defensive corner. He has been playing football since the first grade. He played flag football from 1st-5th grade and was part of the first RepCo Youth Football team which began his 6th grade year.

Don't forget that tonight is the FREE showing of Can't Look Away at 7:00 p.m. at the Blair theater. This shows the negative impact of social media on our youth. High School aged students are encouraged to attend. It is not recommended for students under the age of 14.

Dakota Clausen-Peters has been a part of the high school cross country team for 3 years and has been to state with the girls team twice. She has greatly improved her times over the three years and we wish her the best of luck on Saturday at Regionals.

Any student interested in theater, music, graphic design or communications should plan to attend the Humanities Day at Cloud County Community College on November 5. Please see Mrs. Hubert or Mrs. Aurand if interested and we will get students registered and arrange transportation if needed.

The RCHS Volleyball team played Valley Heights in the first round of the Class 2A Regional Volleyball tournament at Hillsboro. The girls lost 20-25, 15-25. They played Hillsboro next, losing 10-25, 13-25. The Lady Buffs will play the Whitewater-Remington Lady Broncos in the final round of play. The girls won 20-25, 25-21, 25-21. Nice win to finish the season, Go Lady Buffs!


The Volleyball team travels to Hillsboro today to compete in the Regional Volleyball Tournament. The top two teams will move on to sub-state on Saturday. Good luck Lady Buffs!

The RCHS XC team traveled to Downs for the NCAA League Meet on Thursday, Dakota Clausen-Peters became our newest League Champion by winning the girls race, Congrats Dakota!!

The RCHS Battlin' Buffs football team dominated the Valley Heights football team tonight winning 36-11. This sets up a winner-take all game with Sacred Heart next Friday, in Belleville for the district championship. The Buffs are 6-1 on the season, Go Buffs!
