Here is a sneak peek of some of the workshops being offered on our Springdale trip on July 24th...Clay whistles with Piglet herself, backyard pie and jam making with Mrs Strnad, nature trail hikes & skulls with Laura King and Mandela rock painting with Mary Lee McDonald!! We are still wrapping up somethings. Once everything is finalized I will reach out to those signed up for this field trip to get you enrolled in a workshop! If you haven’t signed up do so today!!! We ended the day at Hildebrand Dairy. We got to tour their wonderful facility and sample some delicious dairy products. 🥛 🐄
We enjoyed lunch at Mr. K’s Farm House! We even got to celebrate a birthday 🥳

Students enjoyed touring Hoffman Grist Mill, where we got to see how they make flour and corn meal. We learned that this facility was put up like an old fashioned barn raising.. it took one day. We were also surprised to learn that it was ran by volunteers.
Summer Academy’s Farm to Table tour started off in Abilene where we visited the train station museum and boarded a train to visit the historic Hoffman Grist Mill!
There will be NO girls weights on Monday, July 5th. We will start back up on Wednesday, July 7.
In light of recent events in our school community, there will be support staff available at the high school tonight from 7-9 PM for any students and/or parents who might need some additional support. Please use the front entrance.

Reminder about clean up after the races this weekend, Saturday and Sunday nights. The money made goes to prom and after prom, so please try to help out. It goes fast with plenty of help!
