Those intending to play High School Girls Basketball next year, 2022-2023, we are having a parent/player meeting next Tuesday, March 8th. It will be at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. The meeting is to prepare to host our youth track meet as well as schedule future items.
Republic County Schools was so appreciative to be able to host Community Coffee this morning. Thank you to everyone who came and joined.us.
The Lady Buffs Basketball Team will be hosting a youth track meet on April 9th at 9:00 a.m. The papers should be going home with students today but here is a copy just in case.

Fort Hays State offers some great summer camps for 9th and 10th graders. All freshman and sophomores should have an email with the flyer attached. These are a great way to do some career exploration. For more information see Mrs Aurand or Mrs Hubert.
Class of 2022...there are several scholarship deadlines approaching. The KSHSAA True Blue Scholarship is due tomorrow, March 1. Kansas State University Catbacker Club Scholarships are due to Mrs. Hubert by Wednesday, March 9. She will hand deliver them to Concordia. All Kansas Masonic Lodge Scholarships are due by March 15. Please see Mrs. Hubert or Mrs. Aurand with questions!

What a weekend for the RCHS Wrestling team at Hays , KS in the Class 3A-2A-1A Wrestling Tourn. The team tied for 4th place. Andrew Hubert got 3rd at 170lbs, Johnny Dyke is RCHS newest State Champion at 152 lbs, AJ Polansky was 4th at 120 lbs, and Garrett Siemsen was 6th at 182 lbs (boys are listed from left to right between Coach Wossum and Head Coach Adam Polansky). Not pictured was Owen Weatherhead who finished 8th just outside of placing, but scored some very important team points. Go Buffs!
This year in the senior division of the Kansas Art Education Association’s Youth Art Month’s competition, we’re submitted something a little different. Senior JaeLynn Russell has been working these past 9 weeks creating modified art education lessons, that she can publish on her online blog, as part of her senior project. She has been working with two students daily, creating various projects in different mediums. Rainbow Giraffe, a mixed media piece created out of tissue paper and resin (on canvas) will compete in this years show and be on exhibit at the Alice Sabatini Gallery, in Topeka’s, Shawnee County Public Library. Show runs March 2nd-26th.

Mekenzie’s batik will be completing against other middle school students across Kansas. This show will be open March 2nd- 26th at the Alice Sabatini Gallery, in Topeka’s Shawnee County Public Library.
