Congratulations to the 8th grade class on their promotion!

Today Mrs. Collette’s and Mrs. Strnad’s classes along with help from Miss Enns spent their class time painting the Fine Arts area of Floral Hall. We had 103 students and 3 teachers totaling 68 hours of community service! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 We didn’t get everything done that we wanted, but we are excited to show off all their hard work at the fair this year!

State Track Event Schedule!

Today students in Food Science and Welding 2 were able to get outside the walls of the school! As part of our discussion on beverages, Food Science class visited Feathered Nest where we learned about various roasts of coffee beans, and making the perfect espresso shot. We sampled espresso, and several flavored coffees and then ordered our own drinks. Thanks to Staci and Halle! In the afternoon, Welding 2 went to Apple One Media where Jake Williams assisted our students in cutting out some pieces that they had designed on the CNC Plasma table while ours is down for repairs. Thanks Liz, Brian and Jake for helping our students!

Special thanks to our Principals at RCJSHS for grilling burgers and hot dogs for lunch today for students and staff!

Rye has enjoyed being part of the East family this year! Thank you to the Lapo family for letting us love on her! 🖤

For the last couple days of school Mrs. Strnad and Mrs. Collette’s classes will be doing some community service out at the fairgrounds. We will be doing lots and lots of painting. If you have any old roller handles or old brushes that you would like to donate to this cause, please drop them by the high school or send with your student. Thanks for your help!!

Congratulations to the boys 4x400, they are heading to state!
