The NCAA League Cross Country meet was held at the Downs Lakeside Country Club on Thursday. The weather was looking ominous all day long but cleared up for all competitors to have a great day of competition. The girls team finished in third place with two medalists. The 'Queen' of the day was Ellie Callaway as 'She was the Champion' of the NCAA league. Dakota Clausen-Peters was ninth in medaling as well. Congrats on an awesome day, Go Buffs!!

Buffs Abroad will be meeting Tuesday, October 17th at 6:00 pm in the Front Lobby Flex Classroom of the high school.  We have a couple of items to cover including Passport Applications and Updating EF Tour Profile Pages.  Additionally, after several questions, we are opening the door for those interested to bring forth ideas for fundraising and discuss possible opportunities. This meeting is not just for parents!  Students are encouraged to attend.  Students present will have their name in a drawing for some cool travel-related door prizes!

The guys have been busy churning out some articles this week on the ongoing Ukraine-Russia conflict with supporting and opposing articles about continued U.S. involvement, along with one on general information about the conflict. Another recently posted article highlights how proud RCHS is of Ellie Callaway and the Girls Cross Country team for all their success this season, looking forward to what they will achieve this postseason. A nicely conducted interview with Coach Anthony Nunez is part of the article as well. The boys are hard at work on articles about the recent missile strikes and military escalation in Israel and Gaza. Check them out!!! https://www.rcherdherald.com/
