What a cheerful day!!! The Republic County Jr. High cheerleaders attended, worked hard & had a blast at a day long cheerleading camp provided by the Washington County High School Cheer Squad. RCJH cheerleaders learned a variety of new skills including new cheers/chants, stunt prep/execution, & a dance routine along with gaining some well deserved confidence. Super proud of these young ladies!!

All meals are no longer free for every student during the 2023-24 school year. You must qualify by completing the Free/Reduced application. We encourage all parents to complete the form, even if you think you won’t qualify.

You will find the site is very friendly. If you don’t answer a question it won’t allow you to go on in the application, so each question must be answered. Be sure and hit the submit button when complete. Submitting sends the information to my email address. The information doesn’t stay online. The application will be printed out and you will receive a letter informing you if your child/children qualify for free or reduced lunches.
REMINDER when doing the online enrollment, be sure and complete the Consent for Disclosure form. By completing this form, if your child/children qualified for free or reduced lunches, we will be able to give you free textbooks and technology fees.

Summer moratorium is July 3rd-9th. This is to give a break to all coaches and athletes. There is no school related activities including weights and sport specific activities. The gyms and all facilities are not to be used during this time for any activities. Enjoy the break!

SLAM students will be going to Rocky Pond and then attending the movie at the Blair at 10:00. Dismissal will be at normal time at 11:45.
A big thank-you goes out to Jimmy Melton of Melton Motors for coming to explain how to change a tire for our Drivers Education students. Melton Motors has supplied the car for Driver's Education for years one of our bigger supporters of students at RCHS!
Trooper Ben came to talk with our Driver's Education students today. Thank-you for taking the time to spend with our students to discuss safety on the road and making good choices while driving. Lucky to have such an awesome law enforcement officer come share his wisdom with beginning drivers.
