Congratulations goes out to Dillon Burnett and Conner Sheetz on being accepted to participate in the Mark Arts Live Youth Battle of the Arts! This event will be held in Wichita on February 13th. This event showcases high school artists in a live battle where students will create an original painting or sculpture in just 20 minutes! Dillon will be competing against 11 students in the painting division, using ink. Conner will be competing against 11 students in the sculpture division, using clay. Again, congrats, we can't wait to see what you create!

The Buffalo girls basketball team fought hard but came up short 48-35 to Remington. They will play at 11:30 tomorrow morning against Riley County.
The Buffalo boys basketball team loses a close one to Eureka, 34-36 at Hillsboro. They will play tomorrow at 1:00 in the Hillsboro Middle School Gym.
The Kansas Future Teacher Academy is an excellent opportunity for Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors that might be considering a career in education. This is a five day experience that lets students interact with some of the top educators in Kansas. There are two sessions offered this summer. Here is another ACT class opportunity for our sophomores and juniors that want to get some good test taking tips. This class is on a Saturday so students would not have to miss classes. This one will be held at Kansas State University on Saturday February 24th. The cost of the class is $80 and the class will go from 9-2:30 that day. Lunch is included in the cost of the class. The Buffalo girls basketball team falls to the #1 seed Hillsboro, 55-29. They will match up against Remington tomorrow at 6:00 pm in the Tabor Gym.
The Buffs played a hard fought game but came up just short against Remington 49-40. They will continue play in the Hillsboro Tournament against Eureka at 4:30 at Tabor College.
