Another great art show in the books, this teacher couldn’t be more proud! I always tell my students that judging is a matter of opinion that varies day by day. I love having shows back to back to prove this... here are today’s results... Republic County Buffs brought home 93 place winners, 13 state qualifiers, and one cash prize! The high school library is getting an update! Workers from the CKLS helped our high school librarian, Carson Klima to clear out 3,563 old books. This is to make room for the shelves to be replenished with updated, more modern books for our students! Thank you to Carson and CKLS for helping with this project!

RCHS is off to CCCC today for High School Art Day!! Cloud County Community College invites the community to view over 12 area high schools artwork in the Arley Bryant Gymnasium from 9 - 1. Awards will be given for Best of Show and Best of Category for each of these categories: Pencil, Colored Pencil, Acylic Painting, Oil Painting, Mixed-media, Ceramics and Jewelry Design. Other exciting news this year that will be different than the past is that we are offering the "Best in Show" a $500 scholarship to Cloud County Community College.

Future Maker Mobile Learning Lab from Wichita State is working with our 8th and 9th Graders today. The FutureMaker Lab Program and mobile unit are a partnership between WSU Tech College and Goodwill Industries to introduce students to careers in science, technology, engineering and math.
