During the last 9 weeks, Art I explored ceramics. We are finally getting everything glazed. Here's a peek at some of the work we just unloaded!











RCHS Forensics team will host an informative meeting on Thursday 1/25 at 6:30pm in the front Lobby classroom for any judges who would like to brush up on judging technique before our tournament on Saturday. This is not required, but suggested for first time judges. Otherwise, we will see you at 7:40am on Saturday 1/27 at the same place. Thank you all for your help!

The District IV Contest for FBLA that Republic County was to host tomorrow has been postponed to Monday, January 29th.

Congratulations goes out to Dillon Burnett and Conner Sheetz on being accepted to participate in the Mark Arts Live Youth Battle of the Arts! This event will be held in Wichita on February 13th. This event showcases high school artists in a live battle where students will create an original painting or sculpture in just 20 minutes! Dillon will be competing against 11 students in the painting division, using ink. Conner will be competing against 11 students in the sculpture division, using clay. Again, congrats, we can't wait to see what you create!



Day 2 at Beloit Wrestling Tournament! Good luck Buffs!


The Buffalo girls basketball team fought hard but came up short 48-35 to Remington. They will play at 11:30 tomorrow morning against Riley County.

The Buffalo boys basketball team loses a close one to Eureka, 34-36 at Hillsboro. They will play tomorrow at 1:00 in the Hillsboro Middle School Gym.

The Kansas Future Teacher Academy is an excellent opportunity for Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors that might be considering a career in education. This is a five day experience that lets students interact with some of the top educators in Kansas. There are two sessions offered this summer.
