The NCAA All-League Band held their concert at The Blair Theatre in Bellleville, under the direction of Dr. Keith Dodson. Dr. Dodson is the Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Instrumental Studies at Bethany College, in Lindsborg, KS.


Nine RCHS band students are working diligently to perfect their parts for the NCAA League Honor Band. The ensemble is performing in the Blair Theater at 7pm. Free admission!

Today RC students were recognized at the Dane Hansen Student Art Exhibit opening in Logan, KS. Thanks to all the families that made the trip today. The show will be up through February 28th!

4th and 2nd grade explored coding and robotics stations in STEM this morning. 2nd grade used coding critters, and 4th grade coded Micro:bits to play rock, paper, scissors. Both grades enjoyed Cubelets, and Ozobot bowling!

High school basketball travels to Hanover tonight! All games are in their high school gym. There is no JV girls game. 4:45 - JV boys, 6:00 - Varsity girls, 7:30 - Varsity boys. Good luck Buffaloes!

Know what’s fun? Watching Art I paint!!! They are GOOD. We are just getting started, and they are already blowing me away. All paintings are completely free hand and images are original from the student’s cameras. Proud can’t even describe how this teacher feels!





Ms. Carlie Enns announced as new High School ELA Teacher
Ms. Carline Enns has been announced as the new High School ELA Teacher as Republic County Jr/Sr High School where she will be teaching high school English courses, college comp courses through Cloud County Community College and assisting with the play and forensics.
Ms. Enns comes to Republic County from Morrill High School in Morrill, Nebraska where she is currently teaching high school English. She previous taught at Scottsbluff High School in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
Prior to entering her teaching career, Ms. Enns attended Chadron State College where she graduated with her Bachelors Degree. She is currently working on her Masters of Arts degree through Southern New Hampshire University.
Ms. Enns is the sister of Mr. Ben Enns, current high school science teacher, and states "I have always considered Republic County my home away from home and nothing would give me greater pleasure then living and teaching in Belleville, Kansas."
Ms. Enns will be stepping into the teaching position as Ms. Deb Krotz retires at the end of the current school year.


The RCHS Wrestling team celebrated Senior Night honoring 4 wrestlers and one manager. Wrestlers from left to right include: Johnny Dyke, Andrew Hubert, Hunter Reynolds, Gunnar Sheetz, and Sammie Sly. Skyler Skocny is the manager. Republic County won the dual 66-6 incredible night of wrestling for our Buffs.

Republic County USD 109 is proud to welcome Mr. Eric Jones to the Buffalo Family as the Junior High Principal, Junior High Activities Director and District Curriculum Director.
Mr. Jones will start his new position in August and comes to us from Remington High School where is currently a high school social studies teacher with previous teaching experience at Lakeside Junior High where he was also a social studies teacher.
Mr. Jones graduated from Hiawatha High School and attended the University of Kansas where he earned is Bachelor of Science in Education. He continued his education at Emporia State University where he obtained a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction along with a Masters in Educational Leadership.
Mr. Jones is joined by his wife, Amanda, who is from Clyde, and their two sons: Lincoln who will be in 1st grade next year and and Carter who will be starting preschool.

Come one, come everyone: All community stakeholders and patrons are invited to join us tonight at 6:30pm in the new gym as Mike Donahue with Value Up will present on valuing yourself and valuing others to help build a strong, positive culture.
Mr. Donahue is presenting throughout the day to students and staff in various breakouts. Come engage to help build a stronger Buff Community.
