Dakota Clausen-Peters ran her final race at the Class 2A State Cross Country meet at Wamego today, she finished 21st. The 2A State Cross Country was held at Wamego Country Club this morning. Republic County's lone boy participant Isaac Anderson finished in 42nd place, great finish to his freshman year, Go Buffs!

RCHS Battlin Buffs defeat Oakley 42-20, to go 8-1 on the season. They will move on in the playoffs and will meet the winner of tonights game between Hutch Trinity and Plainville. The Buffs will be at home once again next Friday, Go Buffs!
The East Elementary Halloween Parade will start around 8:15 on October 31. Students will exit the north side of the building and walk on the sidewalk on both sides of 18th Street between O and N Streets, and both sides of N Street on the west side of the square. Families and community members are welcome to watch and enjoy the parade!

It's the first round of football playoffs for Republic County on Thursday, October 30th. It's a home game with kick off at 6:00. Bring your kiddos to trick or treat from 4 to 5:30, enjoy some tasty soups from 4:30 to 6:30, visit the concession stand, listen to the band performance, and watch some Buffs football. It's gonna be a great night.
Congratulations to these RCHS Scholars Bowl team members for finishing in 3rd place at the Beloit meet Tuesday, October 28th. They won 5 out of 8 rounds. It was a great start to the 25-26 season. Their next meet will be League on Nov. 10th at Minneapolis.
