
Congratulations to all Republic County students for competing at this year's Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge. Elly Williams placed 3rd with her Prom Posy business plan and to Farmer Snapp placed 2nd with his Snapp Auto Detailing business plan. There was a great showing by all students.






The Republic County Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge is today at Pile Valley High School in Scandia. Come view the students and their business ideas from 4:40 to 5:30. Awards will be given afterwards.

Thank you so much to all those who attended Olivia’s Senior project event, and all those who donated. All of the money will be going to Children’s Mercy hospital. Over 1000 dollars was raised which will mean so much to the patients. Thank you for all of the support, it is so encouraging to see the community come together for a good cause.




The RCHS pep band sounded great at the Cloud County women's basketball game today!



Today Repco Art students presented to Republic County Church Women's group. It was a great opportunity for our students to share their artwork with the community!

Proud to be a Buffalo! The JH Scholars Bowl team performed well at their home meet with 8th Grade earning 1st place and 7th Grade achieving 2nd place. Competition was tough with triple ties for medals in both age groups!!! Our pride is also extended to the rest of our team that worked hard to make sure the meet ran smoothly.! Thank you to everyone who was involved or came out to support our students! Go Buffs!!

Today 13 Republic County students traveled to Wichita for the Battle of the Arts at 5am...🕔 Seniors Kirsten Ball & Natalie Boyer competed against students from around Kansas in a 20 minute 3D & 2D competition. They did FANTASTIC! 🎨 After a morning of competing, we enjoyed some Chicken and Pickle, indoor soccer, ⚽️ and Pickle Ball. We ended the day at the Wichita Art Museum. 🖼️ It was a day well spent! Thanks Ryan Boyer for being our second driver and putting up with us all day!!











Today we got to see Ren Wright's Scholastic Silver Key art winner at the Mark Arts Gallery in Wichita. It was so cool to get to see a Republic County student's work on display in a professional gallery. Buff Proud 💙❤️

Attention HS Track Parents there will be a Parent meeting in Coach Erkenbrack's room on Monday-March 10 at 5:30 pm.

Attention Golf Parents: There will be a Golf Parent Meeting at 5:45 pm on Thursday-March 6 at the High School in Room 203.

RCHS KAY Club will be hosting a "Bring on Spring" junior high dance for grades 7-8 on Friday, March 7 from 8:00-10:00 PM in the high school cafeteria.


Forensics practice tonight has been canceled. Stay home and stay safe.

Senior Parents:
The yearbook class is reminding parents of seniors to please submit a senior photo (vertical) and baby picture to Nicol Parde at nparde@usd109.org by Thursday, March 6th. These photos will also be used for the senior slide show on graduation day. The senior picture will also be submitted to the local paper and be used for the senior class display in the hallway.
Optional: The submission of a senior parent ad with payment is due on Thursday, March 6th as well.

Due to some rescheduling of the Blue-Valley Randolph Softball and Baseball games we have moved the Winter Sports Banquet to Monday-March 24, 2025. It had been scheduled for Tuesday.

Due to expected bad weather tomorrow the Junior High wrestling meet in Malcolm, Nebraska on Tuesday has been canceled.

RCHS Lady Buffs drops their 1st round game to Conway Springs in a tightly contested basketball game tonight losing 34-43.
