It was gorgeous out today, so two of Mrs. Strnad’s art classes went on photo walks. Here are some of my favorite photos from our photo walk today. All photos are by students in 6th and 7th hour. Soooo many good ones, I had trouble narrowing it down. 📸

Junior seminar held a Thanksgiving potluck today, to celebrate the great semester so far! 🦃

There were so many fun balloons in Mrs. Strait’s 4th grade class today!

Over the past week sixth grade has worked cross-curricular to learn about how the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade started. They have crafted persuasive and informative paragraphs about their float ideas in reading. Designed a detailed parade route map with reference points in science and worked through a cost of supplies activity in math. Today they finished up in STEM creating their planned floats and parading them in each others classrooms.

Make note of high school sports pictures coming up!

After reading Balloons Over Broadway and learning about the Macy’s Day Parade, Mrs. Johnson’s 5th grade class created balloons for a Dash robot parade in STEM!
