Hello, I am Camryn Reynolds, a senior at RCHS! The Senior Project is in full swing, and students are working diligently on their research and projects. My essential question for my project is, “How can medical professionals improve the public’s trust in medical institutions?” For some background knowledge, I created a survey to analyze our community’s trust in the medical industry. I would greatly appreciate anyone finding time to fill out my questionnaire! It is very short and would require five to seven minutes to complete. The information will be collected anonymously and strictly used for my Senior Project research, so please answer it as truthfully as possible! This data is strictly used for my project and not in any way used by USD 109. Feel free to email me at camryn.reynolds@usd109.org with any questions, comments, or concerns! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdQsjZ1VAbvvy6y3mrDIHOEv5jIdVYnPpWPWIM82VJiPN138Q/viewform?usp=sf_link

RCHS Buffalo Actor's Guild is putting the finishing touches on Radium Girls, a drama by DW Gregory based on the radium poisoning of watch dial painters at the US Radium Corporation in 1927. The radium girls of Orange, New Jersey need you to hear their story, if they want to stand a chance against Mr. Arthur Roeder and his company. Please join us on Friday, November 10th and Saturday, November 11th at 7pm in the RCHS cafeteria to see how the case shakes out.

Officer Gomez would be a great person to follow on Facebook. He has lots of great posts on student safety especially on social media. Here is a recent post that is very interesting. Want to know what a pediatric neurologist says social media is doing to your child's brain? Dr. Condie gives a 30 minute presentation on what is happening to the brains of juveniles on social media. https://youtu.be/j_BFKX-vV-Q?si=ankZRbBe2pJk5YWG Happy Parenting, Officer Gomez

It's getting to be that time of year when lots of fun sicknesses start to get shared. It can be difficult to know when to send your kids to school and when to keep them home. Attendance is SO important in academic achievement. Even missing just 2 days a month can cause huge gaps in instruction time. This handout can help you decide if you should keep your child home or send them to school.
