Hey Republic County, it is time to find more room in the trophy case-The Republic County Forensics team just got third place at the Class 2A State Forensics Tournament, check out that state trophy! Owen Doyle medaled 3rd in Extemp, Taylor Peters 5th in Extemp, Gwen Cole 3rd in Serious Solo, Taylor Peters 2nd in Humorous, and Julian Swank 5th in Humorous. What a day for our kids, our coaches, and our school so very proud of all of you, Go Buffs!

The last quarter of junior high FACS students completed their sewing unit. They learned how to use the sewing machine, hand sew and a few students know how to use the seam ripper.

There will be a Drivers Education meeting for parents and students taking the course. The meeting will be Wednesday, May 13th at 5:00 pm in the Front Flex Room of the HS. Please bring the student's birth certificate (must be 14 by June 1), driver's permit if he/she has one, and payment of $200. It is not too late to sign up your student. Please have your student sign up in the JH/HS Office or call 785-527-2281 and we will put him/her on the list.

Lady Buffs traveled to Plainville today for softball winning the first game 18-12,it was chilly and windy at the ballpark. The Lady Buffs completed the sweep winning the second game 22-10 in 5 innings, Go Lady Buffs!
