Today 19 Repco art students, Mrs. Strnad, and 3 sponsors headed to Wichita at 6am, for a silversmithing field trip. This field trip was made possible by a grant through the Republic County Community Foundation.
We started the morning at Cocoa Dolce where we learned about how they make hand paint chocolates. We got to enjoy a sweet treat and a little art! Next we were off to City Arts, where we participated in a silversmithing workshop and collage class. We enjoyed lunch, then bounced on to Wichita Art Museum. We were lucky to have two great docents show us around. Before we left, we posed for a mandatory picture under the Chihuly chandelier, and took a walk on the famous Chihuly floor.
A BIG thank you to our bus driver, sponsors, and Republic County Community Foundation for making this experience possible!

Dear Kansas K-12 Parent/Guardian:
To help address the needs of current and future students, the Kansas State Department of Education is surveying parents and guardians of children 18 years of age or younger about their current perceptions about various post-high school opportunities. In other words, how do you as a parent or guardian define success for your child?
Please take five minutes to complete the following survey, answering questions in respect to your oldest child who is today 18 years old or younger. The survey will remain open through March 31, 2024.
Thank you in advance for your participation in this short survey and for all you do to help our state prepare the next generation of Kansas children for tomorrow’s workforce.
