The Junior Senior High School Scholastic Book Fair will be held from December 2-December 12 in the library. Weekdays the book fair will be open from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., with extended time of 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3 and December 10, and 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 6. The book fair always has great ideas for Christmas. This year they will also be collecting your loose change or donating $1.00 to; we call it "all for books". This project helps the library out as this money goes directly to purchasing books and equipment for the library and classrooms. Scholastic will also match the monetary donations with a donation of up to one million books to two non-profit organizations, dedicated to helping children, families, and teachers acquire books and education resources--Kids in Need Foundation and Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. Get out, and show your support of your local school library.
