SPECIAL BOARD OF EDUCATION MINUTES

PRESENT
Board Members present were Phillip Poppe, Donna Ward, Kevin Kuhlman, Layne Holmes, Mike Hadachek, and Doug Jackson along with Superintendent Troy Damman, Principal Julie Gottschalk and Athletic Director Doug Lull, and Board Clerk Linda Gieber.
SPECIAL B.O.E. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER
Board President Phillip Poppe called the Special Board of Education meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2009 at the RCHS Library.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: PERSONNEL MATTERS OF NON-ELECTED PERSONNEL
At 1:03 p.m., Donna Ward made a motion to go into Executive Session from 1:03 p.m. until 2:03 p.m. for Personnel Matters of Non-Elected Personnel. Layne Holmes seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
Those going in were Board Members, Superintendent Troy Damman, Principal Julie Gottschalk, and Athletic Director Doug Lull.
At 1:55 p.m., the Board asked for Wrestling Coaches Adam Polansky, Shawn Woolsey, and Joston Wassom to join them into Executive Session.
SPECIAL BOARD MEETING IN OPEN SESSION
At 2:03 p.m., the Board, Supt. Damman, Gottschalk, Lull, and Coaches Polansky, Woolsey, and Wassom returned to open session.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
At 2:03 p.m., Kevin Kuhlman moved to go back into Executive Session from 2:03 p.m. until 2:33 p.m., for Personnel Matters of Non-Elected Personnel, and Doug Jackson seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
Those going in were Board Members, Supt. Troy Damman, Julie Gottschalk, Doug Lull, Adam Polansky, Shawn Woolsey, Joston Wossom.
OPEN SESSION
At 2:33 p.m., the Board, Damman, Gottschalk, Lull, Polansky, Woolsey, and Wossom returned to open session.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Donna Ward made a motion to go back into Executive Session from 2:33 p.m. until 2:48 p.m., for Personnel Matters of Non-Elected Personnel. Layne Holmes seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
Those going in were Board Members, Supt. Damman, Gottschalk, Lull, Wrestling Coaches Polansky, Woolsey, and Wossom.
OPEN SESSION
At 2:48 p.m., the Board, Damman, Gottschalk, Lull, Polansky, Woolsey, and Wossom returned to open session.
ADJOURNMENT
Doug Jackson moved to adjourn the meeting and Mike Hadachek seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
Meeting adjourned at 2:50 p.m.
