NO SCHOOL
Be sure and mark your calendars. School will not be in session on Monday, February 15, as the teachers will be having in-service meetings.
WINTER PLAY PRODUCTION
Ms. Krotz and the play cast have been busy preparing for the Winter production. It will be held at the Republic County Jr./Sr. High School Cafeteria on Friday and Saturday, February 26th and 27th at 7pm. You won’t want to miss the production.
PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES 
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held at East Elementary and Republic County Middle School on Thursday, February 11th and Thursday, February 18th, from 4:30-7:30pm. Plan to attend to visit with your child’s teachers during your scheduled time.
SWEETHEART – FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5 
The Sweetheart Assembly will be held at 3pm, at the gymnasium at the Republic County Jr./Sr. High School. At 6pm the Varsity Girls will be playing Russell at the Jr./Sr. High School gymnasium, with the Varsity Guys to follow. The Junior Varsity Guys will begin play at 6pm at the East gymnasium with the Junior Varsity Girls to follow. The crowning of the King and Queen will take place between the Varsity games at approximately 7:15pm. The dance will be held in the Jr./Sr. High School cafeteria from 9pm to Midnight. Be sure and get out and enjoy all the festivities.
The Queen Candidates are: Cayla Chenault, Courtney Kasl, Sarah Kemmerer, Kelsey Kort, Laura Monsanto and the King Candidates are: Colter Brzon, Seth Gieber, Andre Munk, Austin Pachta, and Joshua Warner.
WRESTLING PARENTS NIGHT
Parent’s night for the Senior Wrestlers will be held on Thursday, February 11, during the matches with Ellsworth and Minneapolis. It will begin at approximately 6:30pm. The Matches will be held at the Republic County Middle School Gymnasium.
BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING
Please note that the February Board of Education Meeting will be held at 6:30PM on Monday, February 8th at the District office in Belleville.
JAM BASKETBALL
Reminder Jam Basketball resumes this Saturday, February 6. Grades 1-3 will be having JAM from 8:30-10am and Grades 4-6 will have JAM from 10-11:30am. All sessions will be held at the Republic County Jr./Sr. High School Gymnasium.
JUMP ROPE FOR HEART
The week of February 8 – February 12, the Republic County East Elementary and the Republic County Middle School will be holding its annual Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart events during the student’s regular scheduled physical education class. Money collected needs to be turned in by Friday, February 12. The students thank you for your help in fighting heart disease.
